A.K. Best refers to the streamers he has chosen for this tape as his “ survival kit”. “When the trout aren’t taking dry flies on the surface, and not eating your nymphs under the surface, occasionally-not always-you can get them out of the rocks with one of these streamers. And, they work well for bass, too.”
A.K. talks about how he chooses bucktail and demonstrates his technique for tying two and three layers of bucktail wings. “ I do some things differently. For example when I tie the muddler, I tie in the turkey quill segment, tail and wings in my own special way which makes them easier to tie and they look a whole lot better when you’re finished.
